Adore Him: He Is Here arrives in U.S. cinemas on October 4, 2026, with the new Christian docudrama getting a limited five-day theatrical run through October 8 - the film comes from Runaway Planet Pictures and Spirit Filled Hearts, with Fathom Entertainment handling the U.S. theatrical release.
It follows the success of Jesus Thirsts: The Miracle of the Eucharist, another documentary from executive producer Deacon Steve Greco that became Fathom's biggest Catholic documentary release.
What is Adore Him: He Is Here about?
Adore Him explores Eucharistic Adoration, a Catholic practice centered on prayer before the Blessed Sacrament - the film uses a mixture of dramatic reenactments, historical storytelling and interviews rather than functioning as a straightforward talking-head documentary, where its story stretches from the Old Testament and the Ark of the Covenant through the ministry of Jesus before arriving at the Eucharist and modern-day accounts of people who say their lives have been changed through adoration.
The film also looks at Eucharistic Adoration in a range of settings, including cities and churches rather than restricting the story to one location. A recent review noted that the film includes locations ranging from a Chicago parish to Times Square in New York and Vienna, Austria.
When does Adore Him: He Is Here come out?
The Adore Him: He Is Here release date is October 4, 2026 in the United States, where the film will play in participating cinemas from October 4 through October 8, with individual showtimes depending on the theater - Fathom Entertainment is handling the theatrical event, and tickets are available through participating cinemas.
The official film website also provides theater information and ticket details, so people looking for a local screening should check there - the film is listed at roughly two hours, although individual cinema listings currently give runtimes between 1 hour 58 minutes and just over two hours.
Who made Adore Him?
The film was written, produced and directed by Don Johnson, founder of Runaway Planet Pictures.
Johnson has already made several documentaries dealing with Christianity, culture and apologetics, including Convinced, Unprotected and Dysconnected, and he also has academic backgrounds in theology and Christian apologetics, so Adore Him comes from a filmmaker whose previous work has largely dealt with questions of faith rather than someone moving into religious filmmaking for the first time.
Executive producer Deacon Steve Greco comes from a different side of Christian media though - he is a filmmaker, author, evangelist and radio host who founded Spirit Filled Hearts Ministry and has increasingly used film and digital media alongside his ministry work.
The film connects with a bigger project
There is also more happening around Adore Him than the film itself - in 2026, Greco launched The Adore Movement, a platform designed to encourage Eucharistic Adoration outside the cinema, and the filmmakers have also organised an Adore Tour, taking the wider project into seven U.S. cities with Eucharistic Adoration, processions, worship, talks and film material.
The timing of Adore Him is also particularly notable because of the recent beatification of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen - Sheen's connection to the practice of the Holy Hour is a major part of the film's promotional campaign, where his cousin, Rosemarie Holliger Costello, appears in the documentary and discusses his devotion, while the film's publicity materials connect Sheen's example with its wider message about Eucharistic Adoration..
Cinema audiences are also being offered additional material after the main presentation, where the bonus segment features Deacon Steve Greco alongside eCatholic CEO Jason Jaynes and Adoratio Foundation founder Andrew Niewald, and focuses on Eucharistic Adoration and introduces the Adoration Finder connected to The Adore Movement.
There is no streaming release date announced on the official film site at the time of writing.
