Independent filmmaker and media creator Meosha Bean has released Church Hurt: Season 2, a seven-part audio documentary series examining the experiences of people who have been hurt within religious communities.

The project is now available as a digital audiobook, expanding Bean's Church Hurt project beyond its original podcast and audio-series format. The audiobook is listed at around 6 hours and 32 minutes and is narrated by Bean herself.

The new season was released through M.V.B Films, Bean's independent production company. The company's September announcement also revealed that its Creator to Creators with Meosha Bean podcast had passed 400 episodes.

Church Hurt: Season 2 takes a deep look at the emotional, spiritual and psychological impact of harmful experiences within religious communities - according to the audiobook description, the seven episodes cover subjects including spiritual abuse, manipulation, sexual abuse, financial exploitation, toxic leadership and religious control - but rather than presenting the project as an attack on Christianity, the description says it is intended to expose harmful patterns, give survivors a voice and create space for conversations around faith, accountability and healing.
